We went to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens in Gainesville, GA this morning. They have this artists work on display. This is the information on the display: Artist Patrick Dougherty has created one of his monumental sculptures from wood, branches and twigs harvested on site. The North Carolina artist – internationally acclaimed for his large-scale, site-specific installations – has crafted one of his unplanned sculptures, which, because of the organic nature of the materials, break down over time. We were there last year when they first started constructing it. It was great to see it completed. Day 63/365.
