Half moon

I was taking pictures of the birds on our feeders when I looked up and saw this moon peeking over the tree tops. It wasn’t there long, and I’m happy I was able to get this shot of it. 44/365.

New Friends

The Black-capped chickadees and the Pine warblers having been stopping by lately. The Chickadees don’t usually hang around long enough for a picture. The warbler hangs around a little more often. I love the color in the warbler. 43/365.

Oh, hi!

Thanks for filling the feeder! They must have been watching us from the trees! We filled the bird feeder, birds came to eat, cardinals, sparrows, finches and even 2 woodpeckers! But of course this critter had to go and chase them away. 42/365.

Reflection

It was partly cloudy when I was at the pond watching the ducks. I noticed how the trees were reflecting on the water. There are small lily pads under the water in our pond. This picture looks like spots of sun are on the tree to me. 41/365.

Bottoms up!

I was watching this couple of ducks and wondering if they dive down like geese. 2 minutes later, I catch him doing it! 40/365.

Full Moon

I’m not sure why I love the moon so much…lol… I would love to learn to stack photos for more details. 39/365.

Spread your tiny wings and fly away

We have a pond behind our house. I saw the water moving and went down to check out what was going on. When I arrive at the pond, there are 3 mallard ducks, 2 males and a female. I was following them back and forth across the pond and this guy took off flying! I was so happy to see I was able to get this shot! 38/365.

Protector

Sometimes we all need something (or someone) to protect us! Looks like this leaf is protecting the daffodil. 37/365.
